Hello weekend warriors!
I hope that you’re looking forward to carving out some “me” time in the next two days. Kick back and relax with these reading, listen, & watch finds that will be sure to take your mind away from your worries.
This week I really put in the effort to catch up with my favourite blogs, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to share some of my favourite reads from my favourite bloggers!
- My Christmas Day Routine / Olivia Lucie Blake
- Make Your Own Dried Orange Garland / The Little Things Blog
- Where The Wild Things Are Film Review / My Mind Speaks Aloud
- Dreaming Of Buying Our Own House / Doorways & Dresses
Tristan & I finally started watching Schitt’s Creek and honestly I can’t ever recall laughing so hard while watching a sitcom- I mean sure I’ll chuckle here and there while watching FRIENDS or Modern Family but I’m talking tears in my eyes, belly hurts from laughing kinda comedy.
The acting in this series is absolutely phenomenal, it’s not a huge shock to learn that they’ve all won a ton of awards for their performances. The characters featured in this hilarious sitcom are so over the top and dramatic that you can’t help but to admire the actors talent. *spoiler alert: one of the main characters [the mother of the family in the series] is the very same mother that starred in Home Alone with Macauley Caulkin*
You can find Schitt’s Creek and all six seasons on Netflix! Once you get hooked [I promise that you will] come back here and tell me who your favourite character is!
Listen to This
I’m not a longtime listener of the Call Her Daddy podcast but when I found out recently that the host did an interview with Miley Cyrus I had to go listen to it. I’ve loved Miley ever since she moonlighted as Hannah Montana and I will forever respect her Wrecking Ball phase.
The interview goes into some topics that I haven’t heard Miley talk about before like her marriage with Liam, her sexuality, her folk-style inspiration, and so many more juicy insights. I highly recommend that you go and listen to the episode if you’re a fellow Miley fan!
That’s it for this week! Stay well & get some RNR in this weekend, friends.
