Essential Scrapbooking Tools prt 2

Hi there my fellow scrapbooking friends!

Since I posted about my Essential Scrapbooking Tools I have been going down the TikTok rabbit-hole in awe at the beautiful spreads that these creative people are putting together. I realized that they had a few tools that I had yet to come across but knew that I needed to get my hands on to up my scrapbooking game.

I’ve also recently picked up a bullet journal which I wrote about in the latest weekly catch up, and these tools will be great to use while creating my monthly spreads! Let’s dive into these must have scrapbooking goodies!

Related: Six Essential Scrapbooking Tools

1.

Acrylic Stamp Pad

This is such a space saver! Instead of buying stamps that are strictly one design these acrylic stamp pad’s are made for silicone stamps, which are way easier to store then bulky traditional stamps. These stamping blocks along with the silicone stamps are sold separately but are reusable and durable, they can be used over and over again.

2.

Reusable Stamps

These silicone stamps are super easy to use,  simply peel stamp from transparent sheet and apply it to an acrylic block, apply ink to stamp, position the stamp onto your desired surface and press down firmly. That’s it! You can reuse these durable stamps over and over again as well as wash them when you’re finished to reduce the amount of mess while storing your stamps.

3.

Calligraphy Pen

Calligraphy is so beautiful and for the longest time I was really intimidated by it but you know what they say, practice makes perfect! I’ve done lots of practicing since I’ve gotten my calligraphy pen and although it’s not perfect I’m slowly but surely getting the hang of it. There are tons of practice sheets that you can find and print out to practice on via Pinterest!

4.

Leaf Foil Gold Sheets

I had no idea that these sheets existed but they are great for multiple crafts and DIY’s. Alongside using is in my scrapbook to create a golden aesthetic I used a couple sheets to cover one of the smaller pumpkins my fiancee picked up for decor. It’s super fragile stuff so definitely take your time when you’re working with it!

5.

Lace Washi Tape

I had come across every other type of washi tape except lace. This adds such a feminine vibe to the spreads that I use it in and I love that there are so many different patterns to choose from!

6.

Brush Tip Markers

Last but not least, these are great if you’re into calligraphy and want your script to be colourful. There are so many things you can do with brush tip markers and it’s great when you can find a marker with both options; a thick tip and a thinner tip.

Happy scrapbooking my loves! Please don’t be shy and show off your spreads in the comment section below!

  1. Oh, I miss my scrapbooking days! When I was eleven and probably in year six, I compiled all the photos from my school years and gave them their own scrapbook page. It was so fun creating those spreads and building a theme! Thank you for a lovely post and bringing back a memory of mine x
