Happy Sunday my lovely friends! I hope that you all had a fantastic week and are enjoying the autumn weather.

This past week has truly been a busy one, but you know what they say; being busy makes the time go by fast. It feels like this week was so short although I managed to get a lot done while also carving out time to do some self care. Grab a cuppa and let’s catch up!

This week has not only been busy but also super transformative. Although I haven’t shared this with the blog, I’ve been doing quite a bit of soul searching and during this I’ve been really called to a new career path. Of course any major life change is packed full of fear and anxieties because of all of the unknowns but as I’ve learned over the past few weeks, we should be using fear as a motivator. We need to look at fear as a tool that way you can use it to your advantage, odds are if you’re scared of something that means that it is worth doing.

The girls had a hair appointment this week and they look all nice and cleaned up! We absolutely love our Groomer, Lindsay, and have been going to her for a few years now. Bella is completely used to being groomed, but this was Penny’s first time and she did amazing. Bella typically gets a shave (her hair grows super long), a bath, ear cleaning, and nail trim whereas Penny is a little easier because she’s short haired she doesn’t need her hair cut- just a bath, ear cleaning, nail trim, and face cleaning because she has cute face wrinkles that need to be kept clean & dry.

We’ve been slowly but surely decorating for our favourite season! Tristan has picked up some beautiful mum’s and an assortment of pumpkins in various different sizes. She also has an awesome eye when it comes to shopping discounted decor items and she bought some adorable crocheted pumpkins among a few other items that compliment the house and the season.

Yesterday I ran some errands and on my way home I stopped at my favourite wholesale crafting store and scored some awesome supplies for under $20! Here’s what I got:

We’ve been cooking at home a lot more and this week we tried a few new meals that I think will become staples. My favourite was the BLT chicken alfredo French bread we made and it took no time at all to prep and cook so it’s easy on those later nights! I found the recipe on Pinterest and have linked it for you here.

Today we took a rainy day cruise with the doggo’s to our favourite grocery store Foodland– it’s about 20 minutes from where we live. Now we’re all snuggled up on the couch with a warm cup of coffee ready to have a relaxing movie day.

That’s all she wrote loves! I hope you have a fantastic week & remember to cut out some time that’s just for you!

xx
