The One Where We Got Engaged

…I said I yes!

Yesterday was the most magical day and was more perfect than I could even begin to put into words.

I was so surprised and didn’t expect it at all! Tristan had planned a photo session for us in a gorgeous sunflower field and she planned it so the photos would be at sunset.

I had no idea that halfway through the shoot she would ask me to be her fiancée! I am so thankful that we had a really talented and genuine photographer to capture this moment.

September 5th also holds a special place in our hearts because on August 5th 2014 Tristan & I had our first kiss. Our kisses haven’t stopped ever since, hehe.

I’m not lying when I tell you that I literally can not stop staring at my ring, I am absolutely in love with it! The cut is called marquise and I love the dainty band, it fits my hand perfectly and I am never taking it off!

We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and soaking in our engagement with our fur babies while receiving a ton of congratulations! Our hearts are so full as my phone continues to blow up.

I can’t wait to flourish into this new chapter and spend the rest of my life with my best friend- cheers to forever!

xx
