April Favourites

April was another month that was spent at home on quarantine due to COVID-19 and another month of indulging in all of the things that keep my mind occupied.

On the television

+ On my block

I binged all three seasons of this show within a week and it’s honestly hurting my soul that they have yet to confirm and release a date for season four.

On My Block is one of those shows that will give you all the feels. I laughed, I cried, I was on the edge of my seat- there wasn’t a moment that I wasn’t feeling something.

Featuring the best Gang of Four teens in a not-so-nice area of Latino California and all the crime, gang violence, and mystery that they have to face.

+ beekman style 1802: the attraction of opposites

I’m sure you’re aware by now for my absolute love and adoration for home living and decor, so this coffee table book wasn’t just a new decor piece it was also an awesome read! You can purchase a copy here.

beauty

+ l’oreal micellar water

Usually I buy the Garnier version of this makeup remover but when I went to go pick some up at Walmart, they were out. So I grabbed this one instead and I actually prefer it!

food

+ cinnamon raisin toast

This breakfast snack reminds me of my childhood because I loved it so much as a little one and I buy it every time it goes on sale!

+ homemade banana bread

The food of quarantine [lol] seeing it all over my IG made me want to make some so I went ahead and made two loaves with chocolate chips of course.

+ hersheys cookies n cream easter egg

With Easter having passed I indulged in all the chocolate goodies. My girlfriend bought this for me knowing that I love cookies’n’cream and omg I think I died and went to heaven. It’s sooooo yummy.

apps

+ preview for ig

Ever since stepping up my Instagram game I’ve been more conscious about what I post because I’d like for it to follow as much as a theme as possible. This app is great because it allows you to preview the photo that you’re thinking about posting on your photo grid so you can make sure it doesn’t mess up the aesthetic.

+ hometalk

Following the home decor trend, this app is awesome! It has every DIY home decor project you could think of trying out! I’m still getting to know the app so I’ll fill you all in on what other features it has on my IG stories.

That wraps up April’s favourites! I hope that you were able to find something new to watch, listen to, or put into your amazon cart.
