Hey everyone ♡!
It’s been a while since I’ve sat down with a nice cup of coffee and updated everyone on the latest happenings of my chaotic (but beautiful) life. Come join me, grab a nice hot cuppa and curl up for a catch up!

movin’ on out
This past summer I officially moved out of my Moms house and into my very own apartment! The transition couldn’t have gone any better thanks to my amazing family, lovely girlfriend, and future mother-in-law.
At first I was terrified of being on my own 50% of the time (the girlfriend is at the apartment the other 50% of the time) but the freedom that I feel trumps all the fear that I experienced.
Of course I can’t say that its the most aesthetically pleasing space, but hey, your first place isn’t suppose to be. It’s definitely taught me the things that I must have in my next home, which we will hopefully own and could quite possibly be a reality within the next couple of months. Eeeek how exciting.
a new furry friend
When I first got my dog Bella, I was 18 and obviously living at home with my Mom. Since Bella was a puppy she’s used to someone always being around, or she had my cousins dog that kept her company as he also lived with us.
When I moved into the apartment, she wasn’t used to being alone when I had to leave for work and as a result started suffering from separation anxiety. This manifested in her chewing up anything that I left laying around, and digging at the carpet.
We’ve always talked about getting a kitten once we got our own place, and then Bella needing a companion just sealed the deal. Meet Bean aka Beanie.

He’s a handsome little devil full of spunk but even more full of love and cuddles. He’s truly been an amazing addition to our little family, and we are so glad that we got him. Bella is equally as happy, and she has adjusted great to being left home alone since we got Bean. I’m happy to report that I haven’t been coming home to anything chewed up!
They love to play together, and eat each others food- like brother and sister do. We aren’t quite at the cuddling stage yet, but sometimes they get really close. He’s grown so much since we brought him home and he is officially the same size as his sister, they’re both 7 pounds but we suspect he will eventually be bigger then her.
a new job
Back in May I got the opportunity of a lifetime, to work at a clinic that specializes in pregnancy and infant massage as well as general maternal care (childbirth education, doula services, pelvic health treatment, etc) and you guys know I am a birth nerd.
Despite this job being 30 minutes away from my home town meaning that I now have to commute it absolutely is where I am meant to be. I feel so at home and in my element and I adore the people that I work with.
Next up: my doula (maternal support practitioner) certification!
Now you’re all caught up with the most mentionable moments that have happened over the past few months.
What have you guys been up to?
As always,
