The Best Banana Bread Recipe

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve had a love for banana bread- especially freshly baked and right out of the oven. Put a little butter on it, and it almost melts in your mouth. I really enjoy a nice traditional banana bread loaf, but occasionally I do like to spice things up and add nuts or chocolate chips.

This recipe is super simple, and easy to put together. It takes less than 30 minutes, and has the perfect amount of crunch! Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients

1/2 cup of butter

1 cup of sugar

2 eggs beaten

4 overly ripe bananas crushed

1 1/2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Cream together butter and sugar

Add eggs and Banana

Combine well

Shift together flour soda & salt

Add to cream mixture

Add vanilla

Cook Time & Temp

Bake temp 350°

Bake time: 1 hour
